Yale is home to one of the oldest football programs in America, having begun play in 1872 and modifying the early rules of the sport with their captain, Walter Camp, the “Father of American Football.” It didn’t take long before they were racking up national championships (27 total) and fans were singing their now-legendary football cheer, “Boola Boola.”
Boola boola, boola boola, boola boola, boola, boola
Oh when we're through with those poor fellows
They will holler boola, boo
Rah, rah!
Oh Yale, Eli Yale
Oh Yale, Eli Yale
Oh Yale, Eli Yale
Oh Yale, Eli Yale
